Westchester County (NY) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated members supported the 2016 Alzheimer Walk at White Plains High School. In addition to walking, the members planted "flowers" in the Promise Garden to best represent their connection to the disease. Alzheimer is a type of dementia that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior. Symptoms usually develop slowly and get worse over time, becoming severe enough to interfere with daily tasks.  The National Trends & Services and the Health & Human Services facets made a donation towards the fundraiser.
